Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Retired Officer of Corrections, Deacon Wilbert Lee Daniels, 59, of Swainsboro, Georgia on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Memorial University  Medical Center-Savannah following an extended illness.

Funeral services wil be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Alfred Cason officiating.

Pallbearers: Virgil Swinney, Brandon Wright, Calvin Lloyd, Carlton Boston, Dexter Wright, Tommy Lloyd, Randy Wright, and Willie Parrish.

Flower Attendants: Class of 1979 and Friends

Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery 

Wilbert was a native of Swainsboro, Georgia, and member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, wher he servd as a deacon. He was a retired Correctional Officer in Reidsville, Georgia, and Jefferson County Correctional Institute of Louisville, Georgia. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors Are:

One Daughter: Sequoya Thomas of Swainsboro, Georrgia

Two Sons: Robert Thomas of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Steven Lanier of Atlanta, Georgia

Two Sisters: Willie Mae Sutton, and Marjory Habersham both of Swainsboro, Georgia

A host of other relatives and friends.
