Patricia Ann (Worthen) Dukes

Elder Patricia Ann Dukes enter into eternal rest on March 14, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Patricia was Born on December 7, 1958, in Swainsboro, GA to the late Albert Worthen and Juanita B. Worthen

She was joined into holy Matrimony July 9, 1999, to Archie C. Dukes.

Patricia was educated in the Emanuel County Public School system and attended Swainsboro Technical College where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and Cosmetology. She was employed by Emanuel County System for 37 years, where she was loved and admired by many. She dedicated many years of her life for the betterment of her students and instilled structure and discipline in them.

Patricia was a member of Brown Chapel Center of Deliverance in Swainsboro, GA, where she served faithfully. During her membership she served in many capacities, on May 25, 2000, she was ordained Deacon and in September of 2018 she was ordained as an Elder of the church, she will be remembered for her compassion for others and having a servant's heart.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Laqueta E. Turner, her father, Albert Worthen and two sisters, Sarah L. Worthen and Aretha Y. Worthen.

Patricia leaves to cherish many special memories to: her husband, Archie C. Dukes; her mother, Juanita B Worthen; three sons, Patrick B. Turner of Jacksonville, FL, Quintin T. Dukes (Katrisha) of Swainsboro, GA and Bernard C. Dukes of Dublin, GA; one brother, Willie Albert Worthen (Annette) of Garfield GA; three sisters, Mary D. Worthen, Sandra W. Tann and Annie Laura Worthen, all of Swainsboro, GA; a special sister, Lillian A. Brown of Swainsboro, GA; a special friend, Sherrel Cowart of Swainsboro, GA; three granddaughters, Laqueshianna S. Carswell, Asianiah S. Brown, both of Swainsboro, GA and Takira C. Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandsons, Isaiah Freeman of Fort Stewart, GA, Kamarion, Quintin and Qua'meer Dukes, all of Swainsboro, GA; three sisters-in-law, Rose Radford, Jennifer Whitfield, both of Swainsboro, GA and Annette Worthen of Garfield, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
