Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Juanita H. Dixon, 70, of Swainsboro, Ga. on Sunday 08/05/2018  at Emanuel Medical Center following a short illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday 08/10/2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the St. Philip Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Ray Jones officiating, assisted by Rev. Jerry Armstrong, Jr. Rev. James Love-Pastor.

Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery

Pallbearers: Tony Woods, Jamie Parker, Timothy Williams, Willie Williams, Larry Carswell, and Rodrigus Williams.

Flowerbearers: Family and Friends

Mrs. Dixon was a native of Jenkins County. She was a member of the Holy Zion Holiness Church-Metter, Ga.

Survivors:

Two Sons: Jimmy Woods, Jr., and Tony Woods both of Swainsboro, Ga.

Three Daughters: Joann Hill, Lavonia Woods, and Melissa Woods all of Swainsboro, Ga

16-granchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I met Mrs. Wynn years ago when her and her group performed at my former church. What a wonderful singer and woman of God she was. Her labor was not in vain. My prayers are with you all.
