Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Willie Roger Thompson, 76, of Swainsboro, Ga. on Friday March 29, 2019, at the Emanuel Medical Center-ER following a short illness.

Funeral services wil be held Wednesday April 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Mt. Pleasant CME Church-Bartow, with the Rev. Marie Carswell officiating.

Interment: Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery

Mr. Thompson was a native of Emanuel County, and was employed by Electro Plating for many years. Roger loved his entire family, and friends.

Survivors are:

Two Daughters: Pamela Mitchell of Louisville, Ga., and Sonya Lloyd of Atlanta, Ga.

Four Sisters: Mary Sue Archie, Lucille Thompson, Willie Ann Thompson all of Swainsboro, Ga., and Annie Smith of Covington, Ga.

Two Brothers: Joe Thompson, Jr. of Swainsboro, Ga., and Curtis Thompson of Louisville, Ga.

1-Grandson, 3-great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives, and friends.
