Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Verlie Mae (Phillips) Bobbitt, 83, of Lexsy, Ga. on Saturday July 27, 2019, at the Pruitt Health-Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 3, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., at the Gethsemane Baptist Church with the Pastor Mario Webb officiating.
Interment: Phillips Cemetery
Pallbearers: Nephews
Flower Attendants: Missionaries
Mrs. Verlie was a native of Lexsy, Ga., and a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. Everyone that knew her, knew she was a fantastic cook, and loved it to the up most. She loved her daughter, granddaughter, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Survivors Are:
One Daughter: Melody Phillips of Stillmore, Ga.
One Sister: Geneva Wadley of Swainsboro, Ga.
One Brother: Leroy Phillips of Stillmore, Ga.
2- Grandchildren, 4-great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives, and friends.
