Born on the 21st day of July 1969 in Miami Florida to the proud parents of Daniel White Sr. (deceased), and Betty Phillips White.
Vanessa’s school years included the following schools: Earlington Heights (preschool); Allapattah Middle school; Miami Jackson Sr High; and American Sr High. (Miami Lakes, FL. During Vanessa’s high school years, she was a great cheer leader, and she participated in various school fundraising activities.
Van, as she was affectionately called, soon marry David Staples, and adopted his son David, “DJ” Staples. Being an adventurous person, Van joined the military with her husband for a brief stint as she explored her career path. She would soon discontinue her military service as her opted to be closer to home with tight-knit family. Eventually, Vanessa would settle in a career of customer services where she excelled capitalizing on her positiveness, friendliness, and of course her infectious smile and laughter.
Vanessa’s later years were marred with illness of which she eventually succumbed on August 21,2024. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel White Sr, and brother Daniel White Jr. (better known as Junior).
Her memories will be cherished and forever remain in the hearts of the people she loved most: Mother: Betty White, Sisters: Rosa Y. Nieces: Kimberly Young ( Wislet), Chandrese & Jasmine Colebrooke; Akiera, Zamor; Al’khia Leatherwood, Japan White, Christal Wright (Andrae); Brittany Young, Tashyla Mcmillen; Nephews: Akeel Zamor, Akeem Taylor, Matthew Mendez, Clifton Williams Jr, Kavari Wilson , Alton Leatherwood Jr, Camero White, Aunts: Elizebth Cunningham, Patricia Harris, Geneva Lewis, Charlotte Wilson, Dolores Badie: Uncles: Dennis Phillips, Antonio Harris, Ervin White.
