Mr. Tom Parrish was born May 7, 1954, in Emanuel County, Ga. to the late Milton Parrish and Trudie McNure. On July 26, 2023, at 10:30 P.M. God called him home.
Mr. Parrish served 30 years in the United States Army Reserve, until retiring. After he completed his time in the military, he was employed with Norfolk Southern (Railroad), after 37 faithful years. He was an avid drag racer, and his favorite pastime was spent working on his car “The Rooster”.
Tom was preceded in death by his two brothers; Willie James McNear (Twin City, Ga.), Milton Parrish (Garfield, Ga.), a sister; Ruthie Mae Kirkland (Swainsboro, Ga.), and a son Cedric Harmon (Garfield, Ga.).
Tom leaves to cherish memories, his wife; Mrs. Martha Parrish, two sons; Tellis (Katina) Parrish (Pooler, Ga.), Alex (Mikeani) Parrish (Statesboro, Ga.), two daughters; Ariane (Kelvin) Branch (Garfield, Ga.) and Felicia Parrish (Dublin). Six sisters; Earnestine Green (Ohio), Essie Parrish (Ohio), Betty Wright (Ohio), Annie (Robert) Williams (Charleston), Lillie Ruth Williams (Tampa), Lessie Johnson (Swainsboro). Eleven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
