Thomas King, Jr.

Mr. Thomas King, Jr. was born on April 17, 1951, in Burke County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Thomas King, Sr. and Mrs. Vera Adams. Thomas was educated in the Burke County Elementary School System. He lived most of his life in West Virginia.

Thomas worked in construction helping to build up Crystal City, Virginia, and nearby areas. Mr. King was married to the late Mrs. Joann Hill. Thomas left West Virginia on June 3, 2022, and moved to Swainsboro, Georgia, to be near his only child, daughter, Ms. Mildred M. King.

Mr. King was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; sisters, Sarah Pitters, Marietta Williams, Henrietta Cooper, Vera Mae Badie, and Mildred King; brothers, Robert Williams, Thomas Williams, and Willie Bee King.

He is survived by his: daughter, Mildred M. King; one sister, Priscilla Garvin; one brother, Warren Williams; one devoted niece, Cassandra Badie; one devoted nephew, Timothy Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
