Ruby Lee (Hill) Williams

Mrs. Ruby L. (Hill) Williams of Twin City, GA formerly of Summertown, GA departed this life
on Monday, July 28th, 2025 at her residence.
Mrs. Ruby was born in Bartow, GA on November 3rd, 1942 to the late Adell Curtis Hill and
Dave May. She was a member of Forts Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and
helped care for many children in Summertown, GA. She was called Ms. Ruby by all who
knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Solomon Williams, brother Louis
Henry Hill, sisters Johnnie Dell Hill, Annie Mae Randall, and Lillie Ruth Gilmore, son-in-law
Jerry Smith, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by two daughters: Jeanette Hill (Matthew Givens) of Norristown, GA; Anglia
Smith of Augusta, GA; one brother: Jackie Lee Hill of Swainsboro, GA; one sister: Mary Lynn
Martin of Millville, NJ; four grandchildren: Christoper A. McNear of Mt Vernon, GA; Lynwood
McNear Jr of Fairfax, VA; Kendra Caresse Hill and Dominique Nicole Smith both of Augusta,
GA; six great grandchildren: Ayden Tucker McNear of Scott, GA; Bryson McNear of Fairfax,
VA; Jerry William Kumlander-Smith, Delia Grace Hill, Alexa Rose Martinez-Guerrero, and
Judea Evans Nicole Smith all of Augusta, GA and two special cousins she called her brother
and sister M.C. Knight and Anna Bell McCloud both of Lyons, GA and a host of nieces and
nephews, other  relatives and friends.
