Ruby Lee (Rountree) Badie

Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ruby Lee Badie, 90, of Swainsboro, Georgia, on Monday, October 23, 2019 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services wil be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the St. Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating.

Interment: St. Galilee Church Cemetery (Summertown, Georgia)

Mrs. Badie was a native of Emanuel County and a member of the St. Galilee Baptist Church. She was a quiet and sweet lady. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors Are:

Five Daughters: Laura Phillips, Carol Gray, Ruby Gail Badie, Eletha Badie all of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Gladys Hughes of Twin City, Georgia.

Seven Sons: Thurston Badie, Dennis Badie, Timothy Badie, Marion Badie all of Swainsboro, Georgia, Jerome Badie of Augusta, Georgia, Jerry Badie of Twin City, Georgia, and J.C. Badie, Jr. of Hardeeville, S.C.

Three Sisters: Corine Brady, Julia Bell Daniels, and Lizzie Beth Burton all of Swainsboro, Georgia.

Grandchildren, great-granchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
