Rosland (Handberry) Pickens

Mrs. Rosland Handberry Pickens was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 13, 1942, to the late Fannie and Alex Handberry.

Mrs. Rosland graduated from Central Commercial High School in June 1959. She worked and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1985. Rosland then married her late husband Willis C Pickens , Jr in July 1992 and they moved down to Garfield, Georgia to enjoy their retirement. Mrs. Pickens is survived by her son Darryl Handberry, grandson Darryl J Handberry, granddaughter Jemella C Raymore, great grandson Devon Oliver Handberry, sisters and brothers: Dora Hubert, Fannie Sherman, Virgil Handberry, Genitha Pickens*, Alex Handberry Jr*, Jeanette Ivy*, Willie Handberry*, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.
