Mrs. Rosie Lee “Lena” Nobles was born to the late Samuel “Mutt” Jenkins and Cora Lockhart Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nobles, her son, Wallace Nobles, and her grandson, Mitchell LaShon Nobles. Also, her siblings preceding her in death are Woodrow Jenkins, Lottie Mae Lewis, Walter Jenkins, Agnes Warner, James Jenkins, Leroy Jenkins, and Melrose Jenkins.
Mrs. Rosie was born in Summertown, GA. She attended Summertown and Emanuel County schools. At a young age, she gave her life to the Lord and served faithfully as a member of Johnson Grove Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and always searched to know more about Him. In life, she was able to show the love of Christ to family, friends, and strangers. You could see her eyes light up when she could sing of the Lord and His goodness to her.
Mrs. Rosie leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Robert (Ave) Nobles of Swainsboro, GA and Ralph Nobles of Forest Park, GA, and her daughters, Patricia (Larry) Jester of Clarkston, GA, Caroline Nobles of Decatur, GA, Mary Dawson of Swainsboro, GA, Dollie Nobles of Lithonia, GA, and Aleshia (Kenneth) Durden of Twin City, GA. She leaves behind 14-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. In addition, she leaves her sisters, Georgia Mae Wadley of Philadelphia, PA and Sadie (Fletcher) Nobles of Swainsboro, GA, and her brothers, Sam (Cora) Jenkins of Trenton, NJ, Floyd (Toni) Jenkins of Woodbridge, VA, and Wilbert (Ruthie) Jenkins of Tallahassee, FL. Also, she leaves a host on nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
