Mrs. Rosie Pearl Freeman was born January 5th, 1933 to the late Mrs. Beulah Wadley Sanders & Mr. Elgin Sanders of Swainsboro, Ga. As a child she attended the Emanuel County School system. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Swainsboro, Ga. Rosie's hobbies included cooking, fishing, sewing, & gardening. Mrs. Freeman retired From the Duval School System after 20 years of service.
Rosie married the love of her life, Mr. Harrison Freeman November 22, 1952 at the age of nineteen. They were wed 34 years until Mr. Freeman's passing in 1986 in Jacksonville Fl. Mrs. Freeman returned to Swainsboro ten years later to care for her mother. She remained widowed. Mrs. Freeman was surrounded by loved ones during her passing.
Preceding her in death was: Her only child, Hal C. Freeman, a grandson Hal Foots, a brother Mr. Arther Lee Sanders, and two sisters ; Ms. Annie Willie Rainey and Ms. Elnita Sanders all of Swainsboro, Ga.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by: A brother, Van Wadley of Swainsboro, Ga, a grandson, Byron Foots of Swainsboro, Ga, four granddaughters, Youlanda Michele (Troy) Henry of Jacksonville, Fl, Rosemary (Stanlii) Davis of Jacksonville, Fl, Brooke Freeman of North Augusta, SC and Danielle Foots of Lithonia, Ga, Nine great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
