Rollie Kirkland, Jr.

Mr. Rollie Kirkland, Jr. was born on March 25, 1941, to the late Mr. Rollie Kirkland, Sr. and Ms. Emma Edison. He departed this life on July 17, 2024, at the Twin City Nursing Home in Twin City, Georgia.

There was no bigger fan of the Georgia Bulldogs than Mr. Kirkland. He enjoyed watching Georgia play and always had faith they would clinch the win. His family was most important to him. It was essential that he set a good example for them. He showed that through his character and his hard work. He was employed by Brown Farms.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Mrs. Ruthie Mae Parrish Kirkland; one daughter, Liza Kirkland; one grandson, Alex Kirkland; two sisters, Cara Lee Watson and Eliza Kirkland.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Emma Jean (Jake) Butler of Swainsboro, Georgia, Annie Ruth (Pete) Kirkland of Oak Park, Georgia, Frankie Mae (Gary) Kirkland of Millen, Georgia, Lillie Bell (Mitchell) Kirkland and Josephine Kirkland, both of Swainsboro, Georgia; five grandchildren; a host of loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
