Ozell Phillips

On Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia, an angel dispatched from heaven and reclaimed the spirit of Mr. Ozell Phillips. He was born on July 26, 1950 in Soperton, Georgia to the late George Phillips and Mary Lee Williams Phillips.

He graduated from Treutlen County High school and was employed as a farmer. He was a member of the Phillips Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his late wife, Eloise McKinney, and six siblings; W. J. Phillips, L. C. Phillips, Ruby George Hilbert, Shirley Sanders, and Ivey Lee Phillips.

He leaves to cherish his memories two loving brothers Cleve Phillips (Laura) and Meadie Phillips both of Swainsboro, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Wayne Sanders Jr. of Twin City, Georgia; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
