On Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:20 pm, God dispatched his angels from heaven to usher up the spirit of his  faithful servant. Mother, Mae Ola Williams passed away while at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia, after a brief illness.

Mrs.Mae Ola William was born September 25, 1952,in Emanuel County to John and Essie Williams. She attended Emanuel county Public schools. She accepted Christ at an early age as her personal savior and joined the McLeod Baptist Church where she sang  in the choir for a couple of years. Mae Ola served as a missionary and Mother of the church until her passing. Mae Ola loved her family , friends , and church family. She adored her son, grandchildren, and she longed for God’s word.

Mrs. Mae Ola is preceded in death by her father, John Willie Williams sr, mother ,Essie Bell Kelly Williams, husband, Clay Coppock, special friend, Frank (sonny) Brown , sister Mary Ann Williams, brother Lester Williams, niece ,Tralonda Latrice Williams , grandson, Tishaun Shaquez Williams.

Mae Ola leaves to cherish her memories: son Tony Lenard Williams  of Swainsboro, Georgia, goddaughter; Chelse Green of Agusta, Georgia. god son; Terrence Coleman of Statesboro, Georgia; three brothers, John Willie Williams, Jr., of Swainsboro, Georgia, Jerry (Billa) Williams of Douglas , Georgia, Herbert Williams of Naples, Florida. Two sisters, Annie Lee Williams and Debra (Danny) Thompson both of Swainsboro, Georgia. A dedicated niece, Tiffany Williams of Swainsboro, Georgia. Grandchildren: Tykeia Williams, Oliyvia Williams, Ivy Byrd, Tiera Williams,Toriah Williams, Toni’Asia Williams,  Taisa Williams , Takia Davis, Daniqua Sanders all of Swainsboro, Ga, and Christa Jones of Dublin, Georgia, Tony Williams jr, Tonia Gaines, Talik Williams Tylen Williams, and Camron Miles all of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Jordan Williams of Atlanta, Georgia. three great grandchildren ,Tahj Willams, Tashaun Williams jr., and Tai’lyn Williams all of Swainsboro, Georgia.  Two aunts, Sylvia Kelly of Lexsy, Georgia and Barber Kelly of Ft. Myers, Florida. Special friends: Peacola Lewis, Stephanie Robinson, and Linda Simmons, Julia George, Dianne Burnette, Melvin & Martha Washington, A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church families, other relatives and friends.
