Mr. Napoleon Ridgell, Jr. was born on April 20, 1951, in Monticello, Arkansas, to the late Mr. Napoleon, Sr. and Christine “Handley” Ridgell. He was a graduate of Monticello High School.
Mr. Ridgell later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his first job was a Yellow Cab driver. He later worked at Redrock Plastic Company, took up a trade to operate heavy machinery equipment, worked at a moving company for American Van Lines, and a Truck Driver. After moving to Swainsboro, he worked at Walmart as a Merchandising Associates.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Lloyd Hutson, Willie V. Ridgell and Larry L. Ridgell, and one sister; Margaret A. Simmons.
Mr. Ridgell leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Madie “Wynn” Ridgell, son, David L. Ridgell, Sr. of Swainsboro, GA; one brother, James L. (Mary) Ridgell of Swainsboro, GA; two sisters, Thelma K. Ridgell of Swainsboro, GA and Delois Ridgell of Monticello, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Davisha Ridgell of Duncanville, TX, Ja’Kailey Ridgell of Swainsboro, GA and David L. Ridgell, Jr. of San Diego, California; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, many relatives and friends.
