Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mildred Durden, 82, of Port Wentworth, GA on Monday, May 20, 2019, at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Ohoopee Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Eugene Barney officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Stephens/ Rev. Alan Moss - Pastor.
Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery
Pallbearers: Dennis Coney, Aaron Turner, David Turner, Michael Davis, Ronnie Johnson, and Clay Johnson
Flower Attendants: Ushers and Friends
Mrs. Durden was a native of Emanuel County before moving to Port Wentworth, GA. She was a member of Ohoopee Grove Baptist Church, and later joined Richmond Baptist Church. Mrs. Durden loved her children, family, and friends.
Survivors Are:
One Daughter: Yvette Durden of Rincon, GA
Three Sons: John Lee Durden of Vidalia, GA, Kenneth Durden, and Theodus Durden, Jr., both of Port Wentworth, GA
One Sister: Mrs. Calistine Roundtree of Rochester, NY
Three Brothers: Mr. Jimmy Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Edward Johnson, and Jackie Johnson, both of Swainsboro, GA
10-grandchildren, 11-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
