Michael David Jackson, 65, of Twin City, GA peacefully passed away on December 26, 2024.
Michael better known as MJ was born on May 26, 1959, in Elizabeth NJ to Gertrude & Lonnie Jackson. MJ was dedicated to his community as he served in United States Army. A proud graduate of Cranford High School, he went on to work as a Material Operator for over 30 years while owning a small construction business.
MJ married the love of his life, Deborah, and embraced his role as a stepfather with open arms. His greatest joy was spending time with his blended family and camping in the great outdoors. MJ was also an avid fisherman, a passionate dog-lover, and a lover of country music while taking long cruises on his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Jackson; his children, Michael and Lonnie Raymond; his stepdaughter Telisa Claudio (Keith Claudio); and his seven cherished grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and 1 godson. Michael also leaves behind his brother, Lonnie Keith (Linette), brother-in-law Edred Richardson (Sherrone Richardson) and host of nieces and nephews and many cherished relatives.
A memorial service will be held in New Jersey to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Michael’s memory.
