Melody Phillips

Melody Philips passed peacefully, at the Azalea Health and Rehab, on Thursday, March 17,2022, after a long term illness.

Melody was born on January 4, 1956, in Emanuel County, to the late Verlie Mae Bobbitt and Neal Williams, Sr.

She devoted many years of her life, working in the local shirt factories, as well as Trane, where she retired.

She was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, and a devoted member of the JB Gospel Singers.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Neal (Virginia) Williams, Sr. of Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Tmekka (Lavonte) Peterson of Stillmore, Georgia; one special son/grandson, Kaliel Knight of Stillmore, Georgia; three grandchildren, Davonte, Tmyra, Javonte Peterson all of Stillmore, Georgia. One brother Steven (Danielle) Williams of Williamstown, New Jersey, and one sister, Helen (Kenneth) O'berry of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Many other relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

She was one to always try to leave you with a good laugh
