Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mandy M. Freeman, 85, of Atlantic Beach, Florida, on Wednesday January 6, 2021, in the Community Hospice at Baptist Medical Center South, in Jacksonville, Florida, following an extended illness.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 12:00 P.M., in the Kirkland Cemetery, with Bishop Willie Freeman officiating.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Laurens County, then later moved to Swainsboro, Georgia. She and husband moved to Atlantic Beach, Florida, in the 1950's. Mrs. Freeman was a member of the New Community Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Michael D. Johnson. Her memories will live on in the lives of loved ones, and friends.
Survivors are:
Devoted Husband: Elder Eligha Freeman of Atlantic Beach, Florida
One Son: Charles E. Freeman, Sr. of Goshen, Alabama
Two Daughters: Virginia L. (Clinton) Terrell, and Lennie G. (James) Washington all of Jacksonville, Florida.
One Sister: : Linnie N. "Knight" Little of Jacksonville, Florida
Two Brothers: Bobby Lester Knight of Atlantic Beach, Florida, ans Paul James Knight of Atlanta, Georgia
7-Grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
