Sister Lurie Lee Pullens, the Matriarchof this family, gather her wings July 1, 2021 after an extended illness.She was born August 1926, to her parents Clifford and Laura Mae Bivins of Wrightsville, Georgia. She later moved to Swainsboro, Georgia, where she attended the Emanuel County school system. Sister Pullens was a member of Coleman Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she served on the Trustee Board, Jethro Council #1, and many other organizations. For several years, she was employed at Smith Clinic, and Creston Manufacturing. At an early age, she married Brother Jay Pullens.
Sister Pullens leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters, Geraldine Turner of Marietta Georgia, Mickey King, Diane Pullens, and Phyllis Strobridge all of Swainsboro, Georgia.Two son-in-laws, Elder Jerry Williams, and Randy Tillman both of Swainsboro, Georgia. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren,a host of other relatives and friends.
