Lucille Thompson

Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Miss. Lucille Thompson, 74, of  Swainsboro, Georgia, on Friday  January 1, 2021, at the Emanuel Medical Center, following a short illness.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M., in the Mt. Pleasant CME  Church Cemetery, Bartow, Georgia.

Miss. Thompson was a native of Bartow, Georgia, and later moved to Emanuel County. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant CME Church. Miss. Thompson was employed at the East Georgia State College, as a custodian.

Survivors are:

Two Sons: Marcus Thompson of St. Mary's, GA, and Steven Doyle of Swainsboro, GA

Three Sisters: Mary Sue Archie, Willie Ann Thompson both of Swainsboro, GA, and Annie Smith of Covington, GA

One Granddaughter: Mia Rose Thompson of St. Mary's, GA 

A host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
