Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Lottie Jean (Dot) "Whitehead" Harris, 81, of Swainsboro, GA on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Graveside services wil be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Armstrong officiating.
Mrs. Harris was a native of Emanuel County, and attended Emanuel County schools. She was employed by the Emanuel County Senior Citizens in the dietary department. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, and later joined the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member of several organizations. She was an Olive Leaf Chapter No. 295, of the Eastern Star, and Assembly No. 317 order of the Golden Circle. She will be missed by family and friends.

Her Husband: Mr. John A. Harris of Swainsboro, GA
Two Sons: Mark (Michelle) Whitehead of Dublin, GA, and John A. (Peggy) Collier of Mobile, Ala.
Two Sisters: Charlene W. (Charlie) Wright of Lexsy, GA, and Grace W. Tukes of Dublin, GA
4-Granddaughters, 2-great-great grancsons, a host of other relatives and friends.
