Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joseph "Jimmy" Young, 87, of Swainsboro. Georgia on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Doctors Hospital-Augusta following an extended illness.

Funeral services wil be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 2:30 PM at the Greater St. James Baptist Church with Pastor Marcellus Hannah officiating.

Pallbearers: John A. Harris, Paul Weaver, Aldrich Marion, Anthony Marion, and Ricky Riddles

Flower Attendants: Ushers and Friends

Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery 

Mr. Jimmy as many knew him, was a native of Emanuel County, and member of Pages of Life Worship Center. Mr. Young retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Survivors Are:

Two Sons: Jerry Young of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Joseph Young, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia

One Sister: Ms. Doris Durden of Swainsboro, Georgia

9-grandchildren, great-grandchildren,and a host of other relatives and friends.
