Johnny Lee Allen, Sr.

Mr. Johnny Lee Allen Sr. was born on May 7, 1952, to Mr Roy Frank Allen and Beatrice Brown Allen in Summertown, Georgia. He was a native of Summertown, Georgia, and  member of St. Galilee Missiionary Baptist Church. Mr. Allen resided in Stillmore, Georgia, where he departed this life after an extended illness.

 Johnny Lee Allen Sr. was united in holy matrimony to Lettie " Patterson" Allen, for 39 years, and blessed them with two children.

Mr. Allen  preceded in death by his parents, his brothers,his aunt that reared him,one son and one daughter.

Mr. Allen wore many occupational hats. He worked for Braswell brothers house movers, Emanuel Medical Center, Beasley Concrete, Crider’s Poultry Plant, Colcraft and night porter for Burger King in Vidalia,Ga.

His hobbies were, teaching his children and grandchildren how to do different things he learned over the years. Such as, going to Twiggs County to watch drag racing. The one hobby that he is known for is his avid fishing ability. No matter what the weather status were, you will see him fishing.

Mr. Johnny Lee Allen, Sr. leaves to cherish his loving memories: One sister Ms. Carolyn (Jewel) Dekle of Summertown, Georgia. Four sons Mr. Johnny (Hannah) Allen, Jr. of Jacksonville,Florida; Mr Shannon (Trish) Allen of Oak Park,Georgia; Mr. Rodney (Jessica) Patterson of Stillmore,Georgia, and Mr. Thomas (Shameka) Gallon of Twin City, Georgia. Two daughters Mrs Tammy (Eric) Young of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Mrs Lashanda (Terence) Carlyle of Stillmore, Georgia. Twenty grands and Nine great-grands. And a host of nieces and nephews.
