On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Mr. John Willie Turner departed this life unexpectedly. He was born on December 17, 1958, in Emanuel County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Beatrice Turner. He was the fourth oldest of eleven children.
He attended the Emanuel County School System. John worked at Swainsboro Print Works until the business closed. He then became self employed as an awesome brick mason and painter.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Turner, son, Mark Turner, his parents, Willie and Beatrice Turner, and his oldest brother, Vernon Turner.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a special and devoted companion, Brenda Davis of Cross-Green Community, Georgia; sisters, Mary (George) Edwards of Twin City, Georgia, and Mary Ellen (Pastor Phillip) Ceasar of Lexsy, Georgia; brothers, Eddie Turner of Daytona Beach, Florida, Deacon Robert (Donnette) Turner of Lexsy, Georgia, Pastor Wallace (Lillie) Turner of Twin City, Georgia, Elder George (Pam) Tuner of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Sammy (Veronica) Turner of Nunez, Georgia, Deacon David (Tomika) Turner of Ailey, Georgia, and Deacon Aaron (Lisa) Tuner of Vidalia, Georgia; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
John always greeted everybody with a smile. His cheerful spirit will be missed by all.
