Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Joe L. Jones, 60, of Twin City, Ga., on Tuesday June 4, 2019, at the Emanuel Medical Center-ER following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday June 9, 2019, at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 3:00 PM with the Rev. Jerry Armstrong, Jr.-Pastor, assisted by Elder D. G. Mosley.

Mr. Jones was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, and a native of Emanuel County. He was a graduate of E.C.I., and a degree at Swainsboro Technical,as a Mechanical Equipment Technician. He also served in the United States Army, where he retired..

His Mother: Mrs. Mattie D. Jones of Twin City, Ga.

One Son: Lashown A. Tarver of Twin City, Ga.

Two Sisters: Roberta Jones and Jennifer Jones both of Twin City, Ga.

Three Brothers: Vincent Jones of Swainsboro, Ga., Zimbaltist Craig Jones of Statesboro, Ga., and James Jones of Thompson, Ga.
