Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James L. "Fish" Whitehead, 102, of Dublin, GA on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Dublinair Health & Rehab following an extended illness.
Graveside services wil be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with words of comfort by Rev. Jerry Armstrong.
Mr. Whitehead was a native of Scott, Georgia, before moving to Emanuel County County, and was educated in the Emanuel County schools. He was a farmer all of his life, and that is what kept him young. He later moved to Dublin, Georgia in 2017 He served many years as a member of different organizations. Mr. Whitehead was a member of the Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Survivors are:
Three Daughters: Lottie (John A.) Harris of Swainsboro, GA, Charlene (Charlie) Wright of Lexsy, GA, and Grace Tukes of Dublin, GA
Four Grandchildren: Mark (Michelle) Whitehead, Sherrod (Sonya) Lane, Carlos (LaKesha) Renfroe, and Colton (Sabrina) Wright
5-Great grandchildren, 1-great-great granchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
