Mr. James Willie Webb, Jr. was born November 18, 1958 in Emanuel County, Georgia to the late James and Mrs. Mary Lewis Webb. He stepped out of time into eternity on January 27, 2024 after an extended illness. He was educated in the public schools of Emanuel County and subsequently completed his GED.
James never met a stranger and was a friend to many. He was a sports fanatic. “SneeBo” as he was affectionately called loved to help and assist anyone that he could. He was a great supporter in his community, with his family, on his job and quiet as it is kept, in the church. He joined the Ohoopee Grove Baptist Church as a child and accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and he fellowshipped with the Smith Grove Baptist Church as well. In recent years he was united with the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church watch care ministry under the leadership of his nephew, the Rev. Dr. Mario D. Webb, Sr. He was a generous giver and supporter of the church. James was a hard worker and devoted over twenty years at Rayonier and Interfor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Conney Webb, daughter, LaTarsha Lanier, grandson, Eric “EJ” Foreman, two sisters, Willie Ann Smith and Bessie Mae Warren, and a brother Curtis Lewis.
He leaves to cherish many fond memories: Son, Mr. Jamar Webb of South Carolina, Daughter, Ms. Jamesha Webb of Adrian, GA, Grandchildren: Lazaria Webb, Kihanna Webb, Serenity Webb, Kaylee Boles, LaMarqus Webb, and Tyler Lanier.
