Memorial services wil be held Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Baptist Church in (Rural) Soperton , with the (Ret.) Presiding Elder  Ella M. Samuels officiating.

Interment: Graveside was held Friday September 27, 2019 in Shafter Cemetery (California).

Survivors Are:

A Devoted Wife: Mrs. Mae Ellen Ricks of Wasco, California

One Son: Herbert Lee (Ramona) Ricks of Duluth, Georgia

Four Daughters: Deborah (Dan) Farrell, and Sylvia Ricks both of Bakersfield,California, Patricia Ann Ricks of Duluth, Georgia, and Barbara Ricks of Athens, Georgia.

Two Brothers: Hubert (Ethel) Ricks of Adrian, Georgia, and Woodrow Ricks of Vidalia, Georgia.

Three Sisters: Ella Mae Samuels of Raleigh, North Carolina, Lena Mae Williams of Soperton, Georgia, and Evaline (David) Walton of Vidalia, Georgia.

13-grandchildren, 24-great-granchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
