Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Dorsey Lovett, Sr.,73, of Swainsboro Georgia Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services wil be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the ECI Auditorium with the Rev.Teddy Pierce officiating, assisted by Rev. Jeanette Harden. Pallbearers: Carl Bryant, Clayton Bryant, Horton Bryant, and Clifford Bryant Flower Attendants: Friends of the Family Interment: Green Cemetery Mr. Lovett was a native of Emanuel County, attended the Emanuel County Schools, and retired from Twin City Elementary. Mr. Lovett was also a farmer, and was always a hard worker. He will be missed by family and friends. Survivors Are: His Devoted Wife: Mrs. Ella Mae Lovett of Swainsboro, Georgia Three Sons: Dorsey (Maesa) Lovett, Jr. of Midville, Georgia, stepsons: Allen (Chasity) Boyd, and Anthony Boyd (Claudia Tillman) both of Swainsboro, Georgia One Daughter: Sharon (Henri) Bowers of Lithonia, Georgia, Patrina (Alexander) Bright of Fairburn, Georgia, Felicia Lovett of Midville, Georgia, and a stepdaughter: Tilda Dekle of Augusta, Georgia. One Brother: Horace (Doris) Lovett of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Four Sisters: Clearsia Graham, Loretta Wimberly both of Midville, Georgia, Mae Della Brown of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Orangenella Graham of Lake City, S.C. 31-grandchildren, 12-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
