Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charlie Merrion, Sr., 93, of Swainsboro, GA on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Graveside services wil be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with words of comfort by Rev. James E. Love.
Mr. Merrion, a.k.a "Speed," was a native of Swainsboro, GA. He was a member of the St. Philip Baptist Church, where he was also a member of St. Philip Masonic Lodge #96. Mr. Merrion will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Survivors are:
His Wife: Mrs. Leola Merrion of Swainsboro, GA
Two Daughters: Annette James of Canoochee, GA and Pamela Flanders of Statesboro, GA
One Son: Anthony Lawrence of Byron, GA
15-Grandchildren, 8-great-great granchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
