Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Carl Lee, Sr., 67, of Twin City Georgia Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the East Ga. Regional Medical Center-Statesboro following an extended illness. Funeral services wil be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Alfred Cason (Pastor) officiating, assisted by Rev. Carl Wardlaw, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Oak Grove Pallbearers: Nephews Flower Attendants: Class of 1973, and Ushers of Oak Grove Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery Mr. Lee was a native of Emanuel County, and a graduate of Emanuel County Schools. He was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the Deacon Board. He worked several jobs before retiring from the Emanuel Co. Board Of Education. Carl was also a farmer, and was always a hard worker. He will be missed by family and friends. Survivors Are: His Devoted Wife: Mrs. Cendy Lee of Twin City, Georgia One Son: Carl Lee, Jr. of Swainsboro, Georgia One Daughter: LaSandra Renee (Wallace) Peeples of Swainsboro, Georgia Two Brothers: Louis Lee and Van Wadley both of Swainsboro, Georgia Four Sisters: Pamela Lee Jenkins, Patricia Lee Mincey both of Swainsboro, Georgia, Antoinette Lee of Statesboro, Georgia, and Bernice Russell of Jacksonville, Florida. 3-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
