Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Bernie Dell (Lady) Norwood, 89. of Swainsboro, Ga., on Monday June17, 2019 at Her Residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev Charles Wiggins  (Pastor) officiating, assisted by (Retired) Elder D. G. Mosley.

Interment: Swainsboro City Cemetery

Honorary Pallbearers: James Dawson, Tommy Norwood, Charles Norwood, Robert Davis, Eddie Sampson, and Michael Norwood

Pallbearers (Deacons): Jimmy L. Archie, Tommy L. Robertson, Darriel Royal, George Archie, Johnny Adams, and Tyrone Clark

Mrs Norwood was a native of Emanuel County, and attended Emanuel Co. School system. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she served in the Mission Ministry. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, most of all loved her family and friends.

Survivors Are: 

A Devoted Husband: Mr. Romanis Norwood of Swainsboro, Ga.

Two Daughters: Dorothy McKelvin of VA, Gloria Norwood of Swainsboro, Ga.

Two Sons: Tommy Norwood, and Charles both of VA

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
