Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Miss. Aretha Worthen, 51, of Swainsboro, GA on Saturday August 15, 2020 at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services wil be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with words of comfort by Rev. Frank O'Neil, Pastor.

Ms. Aretha was a native of Swainsboro, GA and attended the Emanuel County schools. She was a member of the Brown Chapel of Deliverance Church. Ms. Aretha was loved by her children, family, and friends. She will be missed dearly.

Survivors are:

Three Daughters: Lazuri Buie of Statesboro, GA, Stashara Worthen, and Auija Locke, both of Swainsboro, GA

One Son: Darien Davis of Savannah, GA

Four Sisters: Patricia Dukes, Mary Deloise Worthen, Sandra Worthen-Tann, and Annie Laura Worthen, all of Swainsboro, GA

One Brother: Albert Worthen of Garfield, GA

Her Mother: Mrs. Juanita Worthen of Swainsboro, GA

Many nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
