Annie May Roberts

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mrs. Annie May Roberts. She was born on March 25, 1940 to the late Tom May, Sr. and Elizabeth Parker May. She departed this life on October 25, 2024 at the age of 84, at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by husband Theodore Roberts, two daughters; Shirley R. Williams and Anna Roberts, a granddaughter Jessica Roberts, a grandson Nealrollis Roberts. She was born in Johnson County and attended school in Swainsboro Georgia. She was employed by Roper Lawn Products for many years until she retired.

She was a God fearing woman, and member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, until she succumbed from her illness. She enjoyed reading books, putting puzzles together, collecting recipes and watching MeTv westerns. Mrs. Annie was a generous soul always putting other needs before her own. She will be forever remembered for her funny side-eye stern stares and her straight forwardness.

Mrs. Annie memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of her sister Mary E. May of Scott Ga, her four children; Alonzo(Veronica) Roberts, Linda(Willie) Williams, Johnny Roberts (Almeter a devoted friend), and Sandra(Billy) Brown, 20 grandchildren; Leonard Howard, Sierra Williams, Jasmine (Jason) Williams, Shequita Ortiz, Shaina Williams, Shannon (Kewune) Barber, Nicole Howard, Jessica Roberts, LaQuonda Roberts, Tiffany Lane, LaShonta Roberts, Shauntrice Roberts, Walter Kelly Jr., Johnny Roberts Jr., Johnathan Roberts, Nealrollis Roberts, Kenyotta Roberts, Alonzo(Shay) Roberts, Byron Roberts, and Cenondrea Coney and 55 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
