Alvin Brooks

Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Alvin Brooks, Jr., 70, of  Swainsboro, Georgia, on Wednesday  January 13, 2021, at the Emanuel Medical Center, following an extended illnessillness.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday , January 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M., in the Swainsboro  City Cemetery.

Mr. Brooks was educated in the Emanuel County School System, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Brooks retired from OMI (City of Swainsboro). His daughter, family, friends, and acquaintances will miss his jokes, and other fond memories. 

Survivors are:

One Daughter: Maurita Smith (Albert)  of Swainsboro, GA

Five Sisters: Emma Mays, Estella Kirkland, Lucille Brooks of Swainsboro, Georgia, Lula Mae Stokes of Twin City, Georgia, and Minnie Ruth Hall of Columbia, South Carolina.

Four Grandchildren, host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
