Mosley's Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Almeta Richards, 80, of Snellville, GA, on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Cambridge Post-Acute Care Center, following an extended illness.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the Swainsboro City Cemetery with words of comfort by Rev. Leonard Richards.
Ms. Richards was originally from Emanuel County, and later moved to Freeport, New York. She later relocated to Snellville, Georgia. Almeta was a member of Greater 2nd Baptist Church, where she served on several boards and committees. She was Union President at AFL-CIO Hospital Laundry Facility, and a certified Health Care Worker.
Survivors are:
Two Daughters: Vickie Floyd of Las Vegas, NV and Paula Richards of Atlanta, GA
One Son: Ricky Richards of New York
7-Granddchildren, 10-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
