He was born to the late Mrs. Sadie and Mr. George Willie Cross, on August 10, 1960. Wayne as everyone knew him, was born and raised in Emanuel County. Mrs. Lizzie Pearl Cummings, daughter of the late Cola Bell, and Pughsley Bell, Sr., was a homemaker, and a former member of Brinson Hill Baptist Church,in Wadley, Georgia.
